How to make a booking

Search for properties which will meet your requirements. You can do this on each page of this web site by:

• Clicking the Property Listings button on the menu bar.
• Using the Search B&B facility on the menu bar and entering host last name or host first name or B&B name or town name.
• Clicking a region on the map of New Zealand.
• Using the Availability and Bookings search facility.

You will be able to order property lists geographically or by price.

Click the property or room names for more details.

Select the dates and rooms you wish to book by clicking in the corresponding squares, then clicking the Reserve button at the top or bottom of the page.

Step 1 - Enter the numbers of people for each room and click on the Next button.

Step 2 - Enter your details. Click on Next to continue.

Step 3 - Check that the booking information is correct and click the Complete Reservation button.

All reservations are subject to confirmation by the hosts (B&B Property owners). Within 24 hours you should be sent an email telling you whether your booking request has been accepted. If you do not receive an email contact Bookin directly

On completion of your first booking you will be emailed with a login name and password which will provide you with access to a secure area of our web site, where you will be able to monitor the status of your bookings, make further bookings for your itinerary, and pay for your bookings.

For bookings commencing in less than 4 weeks, payment is due as soon as the booking is confirmed. For other bookings, payment is due no later than 4 weeks prior to commencement. Failure to pay by due date may result in cancellation without further notice.

Hosts and suppliers are paid automatically by BOOK IN - no vouchers are required.

You should telephone your hosts at least 24 hours prior to the stay to advise expected arrival times. It is usual to arrive late afternoon, between 4pm and 6pm, and to check out before 10am on your last day. While most hosts are flexible they need to know when you are arriving and leaving.

All cancellations should be notified to BOOK IN as soon as possible. For accommodation cancellations notified to BOOK IN more than 48 hours prior to commencement of the stay 90% of the tariff paid will be refunded. For cancellations notified less than 48 hours prior to commencement of the stay there will be no refunds. Special provisions may apply to some bookings.

Once a reservation has been confirmed all client initiated changes will be subject to an additional charge of $NZ25.00 per location.
